In-Person Psychotherapy for Collingwood & Surrounding Areas & Virtual Across Ontario
Children don’t always have the words to explain what they’re feeling. Through play, creativity, conversation, and age-appropriate activities, therapy gives children a safe way to express themselves, understand their emotions, and build both confidence and coping skills.
For kids, we incorporate a play therapy approach that makes therapy developmentally appropriate and engaging.
The teenage years can bring unique pressures around identity, friendships, school, family, and relationships. Therapy provides teens with a space to feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment.
For teens, we use creative and flexible approaches that are tailored to their developmental stage and individual needs.
You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Sometimes you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or struggling with patterns you can’t quite understand.
Therapy can help you make sense of what you’re experiencing, develop practical tools, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful change. Depending on your needs and goals we may incorporate several therapeutic techniques.
Whether you’re seeking support for yourself, your teen, or your child, you don’t need to have all the answers before reaching out. We can start with a conversation about what’s been happening and what support might look like.

CBT explores the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, helping you recognize unhelpful patterns and develop more balanced, effective ways of responding.

DBT focuses on building skills to manage intense emotions, cope with distress, improve relationships, and respond to difficult situations with greater awareness and flexibility.

EMDR helps the brain process distressing or overwhelming experiences so they feel less emotionally charged, allowing you to move forward with greater ease and a stronger sense of safety.

IFS explores the different “parts” of ourselves that influence how we think, feel, and respond. It encourages curiosity and compassion toward these parts to better understand patterns and create meaningful change.

ACT helps you develop a different relationship with difficult thoughts and emotions, while building flexibility and taking meaningful action guided by what matters most to you.

Narrative Therapy explores the stories and beliefs you hold about yourself and your experiences, helping you separate yourself from problems and create a more empowering, authentic sense of self.

Somatic Experiencing focuses on the connection between your body and emotions, helping you notice and work with physical responses to stress and difficult experiences to support greater regulation and a sense of safety.

Play Therapy uses play, creativity, and age-appropriate activities to help children express emotions, explore experiences, build coping skills, and work through challenges in a way that feels natural to them.
